The Hyde on Health Care project was for a WordPress website. We were brought in for some small custom development, but also for resolving security issues. This project was provided to us by another agency.
The biggest challenge with this website was with the security updates. This website was built on WordPress, but hadn’t been updated in about a decade. This neglect to update the core WordPress software is a very large security risk for the company.
This project was mostly worked in one day. We spent over 12 hours on the phone with the hosting company, testing all the possible avenues, and updating this website one version at a time to ensure that nothing was broken on the site.
We ended up updating the core software of the site, around 60 times once things got rolling. In the end, the client’s website was fully updated to the current version of WordPress, and ultimately was more secure in one day than it had been in over a decade.
